The use of modern diagnostic methods to ensure operation of skills selected technology equipment
Summary:
Presented thesis of habilitation is aimed at the technical diagnostics in order to emphasize the impact of preventive maintenance for a reliable and safe operation of technological device. The thesis elaborates an issue of the borescope diagnostic method that provides a rapid retrieval of information about the internal parts of the technological device called turbo mechanism RB211 - DLE which is planted into combined cycle (steam-gas operated) operation in the selected organization. It also presents a new perspective on the internal inspection quality of technological device, which includes a search for possible damages and it assesses the quality features of internal parts of the device. The quality features such as shape variations, material discontinuities, fractures, cracks, dents, etc. can be studied within the boroscopic inspection directly, in real time. Solved issue is based on the specific requirements of practice and it reflects the current situation in the scientific field. Main part of the thesis is a proposal of procedures, a determination of evaluative criterions and a classification of potential damages during the operation. Device's condition is evaluated in terms of the performed boroscopic control and the conclusions and recommendations are stated in terms of further operation of the technological device. The results meet the conditions and requirements of technical experience in the field of technical diagnostics. That means an achievement of safety and security of the device at the operation with recourses of autonomous maintenance and inspection, control and revisory activities in terms of compliance with the rules and principles of good operation of the technological device.
