Title of the thesis:Analysis of renewable energy sources and their use in changing environment in countries of European Union
Summary:Currently are bioeconomy and alternative energy sources gaining consistently higher importance in economical environment of European Union. Reasons for this development are not only environmental, but also economical advantages. European Union is trying to increase investment into alternative energy sources and support by it sustainable development, new job opportunities and circular economy. Alternative energy sources are identified also as renewable, they are undepletable energy sources that do not pollute natural environment. By producing energy from alternative energy sources instead of fossil fuels are decreased emissions of CO2 that are contributing to the global warming. It consists of hydro energy, wind, solar, geothermal and energy from biomass. First chapter is focused on theoretical knowledge of the present state of analyzed issue. In practical part is analysis of renewable energy sources in individual member states of European Union based on statistical data. It contains also costs development of electricity generation and SWOT analysis of alternative energy sources. In the last part are recommendations for support of investment growth into aternative energy sources and possible problems that might slow down this development.
