Title of the thesis:Calculation of overland flow characteristics in GIS
Summary:The first step to successful achievement of the results of my work was the acquisition, processing, sorting data and information, follow their digitization in program ArcGIS. The first chapter is divided into four subsections work, first subsection contains the current state of the problem. Subchapter number two focuses on the characteristics rainfall - runoff process and describes the hydraulic characteristics. The third subchapter defines CN - method and the principle of detailed calculation that I used when calculating the volume and surface (direct) runoff. The fourth section will geographic information systems (GIS). My objective determination described in chapter two, for example. characteristics of the area, setting CN values, the findings in the CN values for the calculation of the characteristics of surface runoff. The result was a map of surface runoff, in which were found large areas affected by surface (direct) runoff. As a result of the findings is necessary to propose anti-erosion and flood control measures in the cadastral Upper and Lower Lefantovce.
