Summary:TAKÁČOVÁ, Eva: E-Government and Information Systems of Municipalities Bachelor Thesis. Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development. Head of Bachelor Thesis: Ing. Maroš Valach, PhD.; Degree of qualification: Bachelor. Nitra, FEŠRR, SPU, 2019. The bachelor thesis dealt with the e-Government system - the electronic administration of public administration. The theoretical part of the thesis is to focused on the definition and basic principles of eGovernment. We analyzed the main pillars of this concept, as they were prioritized by the Slovak Government in their implementation and stated its advantages and disadvantages of implementation. In contrast, the practical part dealt with the evaluation of the implementation of electronic public administration in selected cities of the Slovak Republic. The aim was to evaluate the current state of implementation of e-Government through the eyes of those who stand in its gradual implementation in practice - the relevant representatives of municipal authorities.
