|The bachelor thesis deals with the development of unemployment in the Slovak Republic after joining the European Union. The issue of unemployment as well as the notions of unemployment, causes of unemployment and types of unemployment are specifically described in the theoretical part of the thesis. In the practical part of the thesis, unemployment is evaluated from the year of entry to the year 2017. More specifically, it is based on individual categories over a 5 year period, evaluated by age, gender and education. Thesis also deals with employment of graduates and disabled people. The next section discusses about the trend of the development of the number of foreigners working in the country. There is also an overview of the least developed districts and the assessment of unemployment according to employment classification. At the end of the practical part of the thesis are own recommendations for solving the problems.|
