Automated processing of scanned data using optical character recognition
|The diploma thesis deals with designing and creating an automated document processing and archiving system using machine learning and optical character recognition. The theoretical part in the introduction describes the meaning, reasons and benefits of automation. In the next section a scanner is described, namely its functions, basic structural parts and types. The third part focuses on optical character recognition, where the recognition phases are disassembled from image scanning to processing. At the end of the theoretical part the machine learning is defined also with its basic dividing. In the chapter of work results, we will propose the whole system first. Then, with the help of various verification techniques, we will verify and determine the effectiveness and success of each solution. The last step is to program the system and place it on the server. The result of the work will be an automated document management and archiving system in which the worker will only oversee the quality of the proposed solution system.|
