Title of the thesis:Budget policy Slovakia
The issue of fiscal policy, it's objectives, instruments and measures to achieve set targets is wide and lenghy. The aim of this bachelor's work was budgetary politics of Slovak Republic. In introductory chapters we looked at the complex of budgetary politics issues from theoretical point of view, it's definitions and fundamental concepts related to this problematics. Second part called Own work focuses on analysis of total government revenue and expenditure (fulfilling of annual financial statement) of countries belonging to The Visegrád Group (including Slovak Republic) in context of debt crisis. The Visegrád Group, also called the Visegrád Four, or V4 is an alliance of four Central European states -- Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia -- for the purposes of furthering their European integration as well as advancing their military, economic and energy cooperation with one another. The results of our analysis show, that during years of crises, the balance between total government revenues and total government spending was negative in all countries included in this analysis. This means a government budget deficit was created.
