Jana Kopčeková, PhD. In our century women dedicate attention to her pregnancy, they are trying to eat heatlhy and they follow the principles of good nutrition. They eat enough fruits and vegetables, especially fresh, thereby they ensure sufficient income of the vitamis, which they preffered before income of vitamins supplements. Pregnant women realize that income of vitamins in their diet is useful for their developing cyema. The aim of this thesis is to show the merits of receiving sufficient amounts of fruit and vegetables. We verifiged the certain goals of this thesis by questionnaire method. The analysis of interviews for pregnant women confirm out aims. Wer andomly choose 70 renspodents, from which 60 % follow healthy nutrition and 4 % don't follow it at all. 90 % of women eat breakfast regularly and 80 % eat luch regularly. 84 % of women prefer consuption of fresh fruits and vegetables in their diet and 16 % rather yes. 80 % of women consume fresh fruit seven times in a week and 60 % of our respondets anwered that in our geographical conditions is it apple. 54 % of women prefer fresh vegetables in their diet, only 13 % of women consume fresh vegateble seven times in week and from it 33 % consume most often tomato. This results indicate the lower income of vegetable against fruit. Only 3 % of women consume vitamine supplement in addition to fresh fruit and vegetables. By analysis of drinking schedule we found out that 56 % of women drink fresh fruit juice and 17 % of them drink water. The results of our thesis confirm that healthy nutrition and sufficient income of vitamis is importnant for pregnant women. We recommend to all pregnant women healthy nutrition, which is full of fresh fruit and vegetable. Keywords: pregnancy, nutrition, vitamins, fruit, vegetable, drinking schedule
