Title of the thesis:
Utilisation of Remote Sensing of the Earth in Landscaping
The Bachelor thesis is focused on the utilisation of remote sensing of the Earth in landscaping. The thesis is focused on analysis of remote sensing of the Earth for its further utilisation in issue of spectral vegetation behaviour. The thesis examines the relations between vegetation and electromagnetic radiation in the spectrum of visible and infrared radiation. Based on graphical outputs and brief comments, the measurement result is achieved using a spectrometer. The potential of using this monitoring is mainly in determining water scarcity and damage to plants by diseases as well as pests. The thesis presents the history and development of satellite programs, describes their use in different sectors and their classification, resolution and other parameters. The thesis also describes recordings such as panchromatic, color, multispectral or hyper-spectral images. The main part of the thesis deals with the spectrum of electromagnetic radiation divided into ultraviolet, visible, infrared and microwave radiation. It analyzes the possibilities of using a wide range of wavelengths using objects that can be seen in reflection. The value of the bachelor thesis is based on the amount of knowledge about remote sensing of the Earth and its complex processing. The paper defines the concepts of remote land survey that are inherent in this field.
