|Summary:||The thesis is focused on explaining ways related to dealing with municipal waste in Slovakia as well as in Europe. It clarifies specific possibilities of evaluating and disposing municipal waste. It also expresses reclamation possibilities of devastated areas, especially the areas of landfills. The main aim of the thesis is to express the landfills reclamation importance and to emphasize undisturbing impression the reclaimed land has on its surroundings. Processes of technical and biological reclaimation are included. In connection with biological reclamation, there is a list of plants which can be used in order to turn the reclamation areas back green. The Results part evaluates and suggests individual layers used in the Lustek landfill. In conclusion of the mentioned part are templates of reclaimed landfill cross profiles.
