Title of the thesis:
Reclamation off landfill sites and assessment of their impact on the environment
Summary:The work deals with the reclamation of landfills and their impact on the environment. Reclamation can be agricultural, forestry or purpose. The territory selected for reclamation is outside of the built-up area of the village, but still in the cadastre of Stara Lubovna. Area affected by the proposed activity is located n orth of the Stara Lubovna. In the results of the work, there are listed and described in more detail materials such as geotextiles, foils, individual reclamations, appropriate woody plants, grasses and shrubs. There are also mentioned chosen components of municipal waste in the work that end up in the landfill. Just reclamation prevents the waste to not spread further into the surrounding environment of landfill and to not endanger the environment. Reclamation protects nature from possible waste paper flying off, carrying by birds into the environment. It prevents polluting and harmful substances in contamination of water, soil, air. It eliminates odors and prevents rodents living in such landfill to spread of diseases and infections. It helps to integrate the territory affected by waste d isposal back into the country. Results serve us to combine, to design the most appropriate, the most effective and the least financially demanding reclamation of the territory.
