Title of the thesis:Pedotranfer functions determination of soils of Danubian Upland
Summary:Simulation model concernedwith water movement in the unsaturatedzonerequires data hydraulic conductivity and moisture retention curve (WRC).The soil hydraulic properties can be measureddirectly, usingfield and laboratorymethods, which is timeconsuming and financially.Therefore, establishedproceduresthat arebased on the expecteddependenceofsoil water content by soil characteristics (grain size, bulk density, humus ...), and indicate the date pedotransferové function (PTF). In the paper is described the processdevelopmentreprezentative PTF are obtained by the method of multilinearregressionto determine the points WRC for agriculturally used soils of "Podunajská pahorkatina". Representative PDF equationswerecalculated for sixpoints WRC for soil layers 15-20 cm and 40-45 cm. For comparisonof measured and calculatedWRC served ten selectedlocalities, wichdid not passinto the regressionprocess. The coursesmeasured and calculated pF curvestheselocalities, werecomparedgraphically and by statistical indicators. The values of PTF indices for layer 15-20 cm MD= <-0,0516 -- 0,0820>; RSMD= <0,0087 -- 0,0876> and of PTF indices for layer 40-45 cm MD = <-0,1471 -- 0,0763>; RMSD = <0,0127 -- 0,1520>testify the appropriatetightness of compared curves. The values rhave a highcorellationr= <0,8982 -- 0,9975> a r= <0,9051 -- 0,9954>in bothevaluated soil layers. Accordingresultswecanstated, thatcan be usecalculated PTF to determine WRC of mentionedterritory.
