Title of the thesis:Application of Spatial Data from Information System Hydrophysics.
Summary:Soil is a natural resource considered one of the most precious wealth of mankind. It is therefore necessary to know its properties, which are conditioned by physical and hydrophysical processes determining the production ability and efficiency of agriculture. The development of geographic information systems has been encouraged and applied mainly in the area of natural resource use. Above all, there is a great deal of effort to realize the potential of this development and to apply many outputs of soil and specialized soil research to new classification and map outputs. Simultaneously with these scientific and technological changes, investment has been made in map making and a large number of users of this information are emerging. The result of the diploma thesis is acquainting with the whole process from processing, modeling and spatial analysis of hydrophysical properties of soils to their subsequent web distribution on the Internet. The main results of the thesis are maps of hydrophysical properties of soils published on the Hydrophysics information system.
Key words:interpolation methods, Geographic information systems, spatial data
