Orechy sú charakteristické svojím vysokým obsahom bielkovín, nenasýtených mastných kyselín, vitamínov B,vitamínu E minerálov a stopových prvkov. Toxický ťažký kov je relatívne hustý kov alebo polokov, ktorý je známy svojou potenciálnou toxicitou hlavne v súvislosti so životným prostredím. Tento termín sa vzťahuje najmä na kadmium, ortuť, olovo a arzén.
