Evaluating the health risks arising from the consumption of edible forest fruits collected in various environmentally polluted areas of SlovakiaSupervisor: prof. Ing. Ján Tomáš, CSc.
This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.
|The project aims at gaining new knowledge on the level of geogenic-technogenic contamination of selected forest areas in the Slovak Republic by selected xenobiotics (Hg, Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn, As, Co, and others) in the substrate (forest soil) and edible wild fruits (macroscopic edible fungi, small forest fruit). The areas will be selected based on the level and nature of environmental contamination regarding a suspected increased risk of contaminant transition into the human food chain.|
