Evaluation of the risk of bioavailability of selected potentially toxic elements in burdened territory by anthropogenic activities from contaminated sediments

Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Jana Urminská, PhD.

Basic information

This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.

Project description:
Study of scientific project will be analyze sediments in the selected water reservoirs of Piargs group of Banská Štiavnica (Počúvadlo, Little and Great Richňava, Windšachta) and to determine the total concentrations of As, Cd, Cu, Hg, Pb, Zn, their potentially mobilizable and especially of mobile forms of risk-dominant elements in these sediments. Results gained by analysis and with emphasis on the environment the study focuses on the prediction of potentially negative effects of elements contained in sediments on organisms. The project output will be application system by safequard measures, which reduce the level of risk effect elements in the environment PLA Štiavnica mountains.
