The aim of the EIT Food Hub is to introduce new creative approaches in food areas, develop key issues and define new intentions and practical examples of food safety, food design, production and consumption, health and food chain risk factors. The main benefits of EIT Food Hub are to contribute to the 2020 Food Program, to support EU policies on health, food and agriculture, to contribute to national research budgets, to stimulate collaboration between research and business, and to contribute to knowledge and innovation food and agriculture. EIT Food Hub will enable researchers and other users to address key research challenges, including wider food and health issues in research programs.
