|Project description:||The project deals with the study of heat and moisture transport in biological agricultural materials. It is based on measurement of thermophysical properties of biological agricultural materials (grain mass and other agricultural products), namely the thermal conductivity, the heat capacity, the thermal diffusivity and on an estimation of sorptive properties. The following analysis of transport processes allows observing physiological processes running in the grain mass storage. Results of analyses may have important influence of the storage grain mass. The aim of the project is to estimate the basic thermophysical properties of the grain mass of various botanic commodities, analytical description of transport phenomena and modeling of real processes running in it. Solving of the project is closely connected with the grain storage technology and it has direct impact on the quality of the basic element of the food chain.|
