This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.
|Project description:||It is necessary to manage effectively the material flows for sustainable waste management at a regional level. One of the aims of the research project is the processing and also verification of the methodology for measuring a potential of these material flows. This will be done through periodic monitoring of the present state in the municipal solid waste (MSW) disposal in the selected region and also by implementation of quantitative analysis of MSW composition for the villages in rural areas. This selected region will be representative for a reference interest territory, which is the modeling association of villages. Another important aim is to develop principles of effective MSW management for the mentioned villages association. One of the project output will be also designing an optimal system of separated collection with a focus on solving a local system for the collection of biodegradable MSW. The resulting model will be useful for the regional associations of villages in rural areas.|
